South Dakota is known for the famous Mount Rushmore, and gets its nickname from it as well (known as The Mount Rushmore State). The largest industry is service with a special focus in retail, finance and health care, with large companies such as Daktronics and Sanford Health. Tourism is also important for South Dakota, with many visitors coming to see Deadwood and Mt. Rushmore.
