We are looking for a Web Technology Coordinator for 6 months starting in January, 2009 to join our international team in Boston. The Web Technology Coordinator will help with cutting-edge humanitarian, educational, and online community building programs to harness the untapped power of technology and Internet to make a widespread positive global impact. Responsibilities: • To develop and update website (Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver or html, PHP is a plus), including an active online community • To maintain internal network • To work as a team-player with the other United Planet members, including the marketing, international operations team, and others. • To maintain and organize all databases and mailing lists • To optimize the website by managing page titles, key word integration, and other optimization techniques • To assist with online marketing tactics when related to the website • To maintain and distribute databases and email lists Qualifications: • Technical website/development skills • Open-mindedness and enthusiasm • Proven ability to build strong relationships within a team • Inventive and energy-driven
