    WARNER INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION/DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

    Job Description Warner Independent Pictures seeks College Interns for the Production department. WIP produces or acquires up to 10 films per year with production budgets up to $20 million for worldwide release. Looking for hard-working, ambitious interns to assist in all aspects of creative development and acquisition. This is an unpaid internship. Interns must be available 2-3 days, Monday through Friday. Interns will: provides assistance to all departments; read and discuss scripts; assist in the process of developing projects; perform general office duties, including copying, filing and distributing information; perform other projects as assigned. This is a great opportunity to get a view of all aspects of feature development and production. Requirements Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive course credit. Experience within the entertainment industry is useful, but not essential. More important is an ability to take initiative and learn quickly. PC skills required. Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage. Must have a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn about all facets of the entertainment industry. Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel. Must be well organized and have good attention to detail.
