    Naval Historical Center

    The Naval Historical Center is the U.S. Navy's historical command, consisting of several offices (archives, art gallery, editorial, library, history, national museum, management analyst, public affairs, and registrar) in the Washington Navy Yard. Internships for the Curator of Ship Models, Carderock, MD, Naval Undersea Museum, Keyport, WA, and Submarine Force Museum and Library, Groton, CT, are also adminsitered from here. The organization produces educational curricula, exhibits, public programs,and publications (including editions of documents and historical studies). Interns work on a personal project as well as assisting in their office's general activities. If you seek personal growth in a professional environment, this is the internship for you.
