Description: Fast growing e-commerce in the Long Beach/Signal Hill Area seeks a highly talented and detail-oriented design intern for web and print available for 15-20 hours/week. This is an non-paid internship with potential for future permanent work. It is an opportunity to expand the learning process and your portfolio by assisting in projects both large and small with the marketing team. Duties are as follows: • Modify existing design templates in Photoshop • Participate in design projects with marketing team • Assist in coding e-mailers using HTML/CSS • Help coordinate and design corporate print marketing catalogs, flyers, newspaper and magazine ads and other engaging projects Other Responsibilities will include: • Assist in corporate projects, assist marketing dept., corporate website development • Compile and retouch stock photography for use on web pages and web advertising • Perform QA on existing web pages • Other administrative Duties Expectations: • Great attention to detail • Strong writing and editing skills • Ability to follow intricate projects through various steps while on multiple projects • Ability to stay on top of time-sensitive projects • Excellent communication and customer service skills Candidates are expected to have familiarity with: • Adobe Photoshop • Adobe Illustrator Flexible hours are available.
