    Exciting Internship Opportunity for Summer 2008 at WET (Women's Expressive Theater)

    WET (Women's Expressive Theater, Inc.) is a New York City based 501(c) 3 non-profit production company that produces media which challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality. WET adheres to its mission by developing and producing: world premiere theatrical productions written by female playwrights; events promoting notable female artists; and a citywide media literacy & leadership program for teenage girls, WET's Risk Takers Film Series. WET is in pre-production for the World Premiere Off Broadway production of Perfect Couple by Brooke Berman and is currently seeking interns that will assist in all facets of production, including design and technician assistants, running crew, production assistants. WET is also seeking interns to assist in the office, participating in all aspects of non profit management and production including fundraising, corporate sponsorships, audience development, event planning and producing, grant research, script coverage, research, educational programming and more. Must have strong writing, phone and communication skills and be detail oriented. Must be able to commit at least two full days (10am-6pm) in the office, although three full days is preferred. Conveniently located across the street from Grand Central. School credit is available.
