    Streetside Stories

    Help Young People Write True Stories and Create Mini Movies! Streetside Stories is a nonprofit arts education organization that uses storytelling, creative writing, theatrical improvisation and digital storytelling to help San Francisco and East Bay students develop their reading, writing and oral communication skills. We are looking for volunteers to help students write autobiographical stories during our Storytelling Exchange and Streetside After School programs and to create autobiographical digital stories during our Tech Tales program. Volunteers are needed during the school day and after school. The Storytelling Exchange and Tech Tales programs are in SFUSD middle schools all over the city and have two workshops each day: - The morning workshop is usually from 9-11 am. - The afternoon workshop varies with each school; it can be 11am-1pm, 12-2pm or 1-3 pm.
