    National 4-H Council

    The national private sector partner of 4-H, National 4-H Council is a non-profit education organization that works to advance 4-H youth development, building a world in which youth and adults learn, grow, and work together as catalysts for positive change. A 45-member board of trustees comprised of corporate executives, 10 youth ages 12-22, representatives from 4-H, the Cooperative Extension System, state land-grant universities, and other private citizens govern National 4-H Council. National 4-H Youth Conference Center, a division of National 4-H Council is a12-acre suburban campus just one mile from Washington, DC. A dream for all youth groups and chaperones, uniquely designed by and for youth. The National 4-H Youth Conference Center’s campus features a high-energy recreation room, cyber cafe, basketball and volleyball courts, comfortable lounges, and other great amenities that guarantee a comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy a positive and productive experience. It is a meeting and accommodation facility for youth and civic groups, associations, church congregations, not-for-profit organizations, 4-H’ers, 4-H families and CES members.
